When I'm not racing (see photo) I am taking pictures. <b>There are two main things I try to get across in my racing photos:</b> <b>1.</b> A mechanical sensitivity for what the car is doing. I.e. the suspension movement that happens when the weight transfers and the tire smokes. <b>2.</b> The "race moment" and how it matters to the driver and spectator. As a racer myself, I know what the drivers are seeing from inside their helmet. I know where their eyes are looking. I know how the race unfolds and the feel of the car changes as the components heat up and become less effective. Anything I make from these photos goes right back into the race and photography budget. So, the more I make the more racing and photographing I will do.
